A social utility for the driving-obsessed.
For people devoted to cars and driving, GO is a lifestyle. So we set out to create a space where that passion could be shared and celebrated. The Nation of GO is a social utility enabling gearheads to share their favorite drives by posting routes and photos via a GPS-enabled smartphone. It is part social network, part user-generated content, part web tool, built on the Google Maps platform and integrating data from the EveryTrail powered mobile app. The site launched as the central pillar in a campaign that included YouTube, Twitter and Facebook presences. It was also supported by a cross-country tour designed to get the word out.
